Sargent 56-12-8813-J-ETL Fire Rated Rim Exit Device, (56) Electric Latch Retraction, Key Outside Unlocks/Locks Lever, 37"-42" Bar, ETL Trim

The 56-12-8813-J-ETL Fire Rated Rim Exit Device features a 56 Electric Latch Retractor, Key Outside Unlocks/Locks Lever Function, and comes with an ETL trim in both US32D and US10B finishes. It has a 37"-42" bar and is in Grade 1.

The 8800 series is designed for standard-width stile applications on wood and metal doors.

Door Types: Wood or metal 1 3/4"(44mm) Thick Door; Over 1 3/4" specify thickness and order as a 31- prefix. 

Door Widths: E Rail - 24" to 32" (61cm to 81cm) No cutting required for 32" door; F Rail - 33" to 36" (84cm to 91cm) No cutting required for 36" door; J Rail - 37" to 42" (94cm to 107cm) No cutting required for 42" door; G Rail - 43" to 48" (110cm to 122cm) No cutting required for 48" door

SARGENT Electric Latch Retraction exit device is the perfect choice for high-traffic egress doors that require access control. This non-handed exit device rail is durable and easy to install. It utilizes a latch retraction motor rather than a solenoid, ensuring quiet operation ideal for locations such as conference rooms, theaters, and libraries. Once retracted, the door functions in a push/pull manner. The 56-exit device can be dogged for momentary ingress and egress and is commonly used in conjunction with an automatic door operator. The device can be dogged continuously on fire-rated devices that are tied into the building fire detection system.
